Agreed, we all need to change the narrative however we could. I've also noticed that I've placed more importantance on hair styles due to the political attack on Black hair that we're experiencing in the States. The fact that we're denied jobs and other opportunities, or that children are prevented from attending award ceremonies and graduations because of their natural hair infuriates me. I wish that I could pay attention to your myriad of other issues that we're facing but this one troubles me so much.
